ABE 2006 TOUR!
July 17, 2006

The first stop in the U.S. for the ABE 2006 Tour was Fin-Alley's Gifts in Chicago on July 15, 2006. Collectors had a chance to purchase an exclusive blue variation of The Three Sprites and a Cold Cast bronze palm charm, Bo. For those collectors who purchased Bo, Adam had an additional surprise gift, a blue frog pin that matched the color of the Event piece!
There was also plenty of time to get one's favorite Binder pieces signed, and chat with Adam and other collectors. As in the past, Fin Alley's owners Ann and George Schmidt provided plenty of food and drinks, and George's band provided live music! And of course there was a Charity raffle for rare Binder prizes and an auction for the super rare ebony Kiss 'n Tail! The auction for Kiss n' Tail became even more exciting when Adam announced he would "bling" the eyes of the cats in the piece! When the dust settled, Lynda Adams emerged the winner, with a winning bid of $1,050. The proceeds from this auction are being donated to Oak & Furrows, an animal rescue center in the U.K. and a favorite charity of the ABE team.
On Sunday, Fin-Alley's Gifts hosted a brunch for collectors and more time to mingle and chat with Adam. Now onward to the next Tour stop!

Below are some (mostly candid) shots of the Event! How many Binderholics do you recognize?!
